Salome Consolidated Elementary student, Kharliel Anthony, is among the winners of the AZ529 Art Contest. Kharliel was honored Tuesday, March 28 by State Treasurer Kimberly Yee and the AZ529 program during a ceremony at the state capitol. Students in kindergarten through sixth grade around the state were asked to send in artwork sharing their dream job. 343 entries were received, and 14 students were selected to win $529 towards an AZ529 higher education savings account. Winners were presented with certificates and a giant check during the ceremony.
Kharliel wants to be an architect.




To celebrate Easter, on Thursday, April 6, 2023, we will have the following activities:
- 9:00 a.m. - Easter Egg Hunt for Preschool
- 1:00 p.m. - Easter Egg Hunt for Kindergarten to 4th Grade
- 1:30 p.m. - Easter Bonnet Parade/Contest for Best Bonnets
Parents and students (pre-k to 8th grade) are welcome to join the contest and parade. Hats will be decorated at home. - 2:00 p.m. - Easter Party
